In the NewsRoadrunner EDI
The EDI button is the link required to access Roadrunner On Line’s Internet server login area. Before your customers are allowed to access the system, they will need to enter a secure username and password. They will then be able to swiftly place individual loads or batch-post jobs from their files. In this area your customer sends his jobs to Roadrunner On Line’s Internet servers, pending collection by you. The Roadrunner On Line server will then give your customer a server reference number for every job posted. To accept the work sent by your customer you must select the ‘Write jobs to your Roadrunner Database' button at the bottom of the screen. This posts these jobs directly to your Traffic system and saves each individual job number. An email is then automatically sent to your customer with the Roadrunner job number and the original server reference number.
E-Reporting SuiteThe E-Reporting Suite is an internet based system which allows you to securely share any information you choose from your Roadrunner system with your customers. You have complete control over the information you wish to share, and you can choose which of your customers has access to the data.
Track and Trace can be combined with our In-Cab Communications system, allowing your drivers to update the status of each consignment from their in-cab computers, thus keeping the consignment information up-to-date in real time. The E-Reporting Suite is not limited to just your Traffic system. You can allow your chosen customers access to specified data from any part of your Roadrunner system. For example certain customers could make Warehouse stock enquiries to discover the status of their goods, whether it be by individual consignment or by specific product. Your customers could even view details of their outstanding invoices directly from your Roadrunner Accounts system. The possibilities are endless.
