Goods Movements

All movements of goods into and out of your warehouse are recorded in the Warehouse system along with all the information associated with each movement, e.g. customer, product, charging rates, references etc. In fact Roadrunner Warehouse can handle multiple references to uniquely identify the goods, whether they be supplier codes, manufacturer codes or even your own system of references. You can set up libraries of goods for each customer in order to take advantage of the auto-put-away and auto-location facilities. Up to three levels of storage can be identified, e.g. bottle, case and pallet. Both inward and outward projected movements can be created pending confirmation. Roadrunner Warehouse can handle multiple locations when booking in or reallocating stock, easily providing multi-location breakdowns for stock checks. You can also apply quality control statuses to your goods, and use FIFO or BBE dates to select the stock to move out. You can use the order system to manage your customers' orders to produce pick notes and consignment notes, and you can organise the order screen for each product within each customer to make it easy to pick the products required. In fact your customers can use an EDI link to automatically generate pre-orders. The link to the Roadrunner Traffic system can generate a Roadrunner job directly from the Warehouse order system. The bulk pick function allows you to generate a single pick note from several orders.

Stock Enquiries

Keeping track of your stock and customers couldn't be simpler with Roadrunner Warehouse. The system provides a comprehensive collection of reports and enquiries for you to extract exactly the information you require about your warehouse. You can check on a customer's history, find out about zero stock levels, and check which stock has reached pre-defined minimum levels. In fact, all of the mission-critical information required to efficiently run a warehousing operation is easily accessible. In all of the reports and enquiries you can select the range of information you need with a set of intuitive filters, so you don't have to wade through pages of data to find out what you are looking for.

Warehouse Invoicing

This module provides all of the automated invoicing features you would expect from a Roadrunner system. You can produce summary or detailed invoices which include a breakdown of all charges including all extra charges such as shrink-wrapping, etc. Flat file outputs can be produced to link to third-party accounting packages, and of course Warehouse Invoicing will link seamlessly with Roadrunner Accounts allocating revenue to suitable nominal codes automatically.

Bar-Code Scanning

Roadrunner Warehouse has been developed to take advantage of the latest RF (Radio Frequency) bar-code scanning hardware, providing significant improvements in speed and efficiency. You can produce your own bar-code labels for both stock and locations, or of course use the standard ANA product bar-codes printed on your stock. As you book goods into the warehouse, reallocate stock, or book goods out, the hand-held scanners will update your system in real-time. The scanners will even display pick lists and update them automatically as you progress through the picking process.
